This confuses things a bit.
According to reports, Bruce Jenner was claiming that paparazzi were chasing him when he hit a Lexus on Saturday, causing it to go into oncoming traffic, and killing the driver.

Well, now Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lt. John Lecrivain is saying it's unlikely that was the case. He explained:
"As of right now, there is no indication that Bruce Jenner was being chased by paparazzi at the time of the crash. There was a possibility that paparazzi was following him at the time of the crash, but that is a very regular occurrence, and (there is) no indication at this time it was a contributing factor of the crash."
There's a picture floating around of Bruce holding something moments before the crash, but it's not clear if it's a phone. The police are looking into the cell phone records to see if texting was part of the cause.
In all, one person died, five children and two adults were hospitalized.
