The Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul finally bowed on Sunday night, and as expected, it had a cameo from the series whence it spun.
But even though viewers expected to see a Bad alum, we're sure many were shocked at which one it was!
The show opened with the reveal of where Saul Goodman, AKA Bob Odenkirk, ended up after fleeing New Mexico at the end of Breaking Bad.
And it turns out, it's out of the frying pan and into the fry cook's uniform.
Then we flash back to the era of our story, six years before Walter White enters his life.
And in the past, he's not doing so hot either as a destitute defense attorney — named Jimmy McGill.
But things go from bad to worse when one of the biggest Bad guys shows up!
Yup! It's Tuco!
You remember Tuco — crazy drug boss, loves meth, hates chili powder.
Show co-creator Peter Gould explained how they got the idea to bring back Raymond Cruz as the vicious vice runner:
"[We thought] who would be the worst possible person? We probably said, 'Well, if it were someone like Tuco…' Then, why should it be someone 'like' Tuco? Why not Tuco? We were so lucky we were able to get Raymond."
One thing is for sure — with this guy around, Saul's life is not going to get better any time soon!
What did U think of the first episode of Better Call Saul?
