This could become really big -- and it sounds horrifying.

73-year-old CBS News reporter Bob Simon died late Wednesday night in New York after being involved in a car accident.
The 60 Minutes correspondent was reportedly in a taxi when his vehicle collided with another car before crashing into the middle barrier of a Manhattan highway.
Bob had been apart of 60 Minutes since 1996, but that's not even where his legacy ends with the news organization; his daughter Tanya is currently a producer there as well.
During his impressive journalism career, Bob won an astounding 24 Emmy Awards, and we cannot even begin to imagine what his family and all of his colleagues over at CBS are going through at this time.
Rest in peace, Bob.
