Well… that happened!
At the 2015 BRIT Awards the best in British and International music was honored, but the night was pretty much overshadowed by Madonna's already-famous trip down the stairs!
And while we feel absolutely terrible for the Living for Love singer, the night was all about music, so let's take a look at who won big.
Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran were the clear winners of the show, each walking away with two of the top awards.
Across the pond, Taylor Swift and Pharrell were deemed the best International Solo Artists, but who else does the UK admire?
The complete list includes:
Best British Male Artist: Ed Sheeran
Best British Group: Royal Blood
Best International Female Solo Artist: Taylor Swift
Best British Female Solo Artist: Paloma Faith
Brits Global Success Award: Sam Smith
Best International Female Solo Artist: Pharrell
Best British Single: Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars — Uptown Funk
Best International Group: Foo Fighters
Critics' Choice: James Bay
British Breakthrough Act: Sam Smith
British Artist Video of the Year: One Direction — You & I
British Album of the Year: Ed Sheeran — X
We didn't realize, but 2015 really was the year of British Boy singers over in the UK; Taylor and Paloma were the only girls to win anything, and they only won the all-female categories!
Still, it was a really fun night full of awesome performances.
We just hope Madge is feeling alright…
