According to the Horry County Police Department on Wednesday, the reality TV couple got into an altercation that resulted in Griffith being arrested and booked for domestic violence.
Officials released the following statement:
"At about 4:15 p.m. today, Horry County Police Officers responded to a residence on Eagle Creek Drive, in the Myrtle Beach section of Horry County, for a domestic disturbance. This is the location where a television show called Teen Mom 2 is being filmed…
Officers investigated and determined that an assault had taken place, as a result of an argument between two persons who were determined to be household members. Officers arrested one Nathan Griffith, 27 years of age, of Myrtle Beach, SC. He has been charged with one count of Criminal Domestic Violence and he is presently being held at the Horry County Detention Center."
As we reported, this isn't the first time the 23-year-old mother has been involved in a legal matter. Last month, she was arrested for driving without a license.
There is no word on whether this confrontation between the South Carolina duo was caught on tape.
We just hope justice will be brought down on those responsible.
