If there were anyone we would trust to host any and every awards show ever, it'd probably be Neil Patrick Harris.
But hostin' ain't easy. NPH knows that all too well.
He opened up about whether or not he'd ever be up for hosting the Oscars again, saying:
"I don't know that my family nor my soul could take it. It's a beast. It was fun to check off the list, but for the amount of time spent and the understandable opinionated response, I don't know that it's a delightful balance to do every year or even again."
We think he totally did great! But we also understand how tough it must be to work so hard, perform in front of Hollywood's A-listers (and millions of Americans watching at home) and then have to hear how some people hated it.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but a negative review still hurts.
What stinks for Neil is viewership from this year's Oscars dropped 16% from last year's show!

It actually only reached 36.6 million people, the show's lowest numbers since 2009.
"I was glad we got through it, and I thought that those in the audience at the Dolby [Theatre] seemed to be enjoying themselves more as the show went on, when I was told that the opposite would be true. I was told that as the room fills, with you know it's four-fifths of the room didn't win, and you get further into the award giving they get less enthusiastic and less excited. And I felt while we were doing it that people were enjoying themselves more and more, so for that I'm happy."
That's an achievement all on its own!
Way to look on the positive side, Neil! We still think you did great!!
