For you kids out there, Rosie the Riveter may sound like someone you could choose to play in Mario Kart, but she's actually the character portrayed in the classic "We Can Do It!" posters!
The female empowerment icon was created during WWII as women took on many jobs traditionally worked by men while they were away at war.
Sure, those jobs didn't include hunting down Metroids or exploding on cue, but what the heck! Anything that sheds more light on equality — especially for the Wii demographic!
