Before reality TV became saturated by the Kardashians and Housewives, there were only a handful of shows.
One such show was Joe Millionaire. The 2003 FOX show introduced us to Evan Marriott — a hunky contractor posing as a millionaire. Women vied for his affections only to learn that he was more blue collar than bougie.
Nearly 35 million viewers tuned in to the finale, where contestant Zora Andrich chose to stay with Evan despite learning of his financial status, and the two split a million dollar prize.
obviously didn't last, and Evan slipped into obscurity … until last night. The now-40-year-old resurfaced for a panel on reality TV relationships, and you won't believe what he looks like now. Ch-ch-check out the photo after the jump:
He's definitely burlier now, but you can definitely see he's still got his lumbersexual looks.
During the panel Evan — who returned to working as a contractor — talked about the perils of overnight fame:
"I didn't know about success, but notoriety. And it's… it's… you can't explain it, it's really powerful. It's really powerful when not just your friends know you, but everybody thinks they know you. They think they do. And depending on how you take it, it's sometimes not that pleasant."

He wasn't the only retro reality star in attendance to WE tv Presents: The Evolution of Relationship Reality Shows. Darva Conger, the bride from Who Wants To Marry A Multi-Millionaire, also spoke. The years have definitely been kind to her though:
