Columbus Short doesn't keep it a secret that he misses being on Scandal.
In fact, the 32-year-old says he completely avoids the show after his character was **SPOILER** killed off the hit Shonda Rhimes series!
Last year, the troubled actor was fired from the political drama after being the center of many real life scandals — including domestic abuse and death threats to his ex-wife. Ugh.
Since then, the actor has tried to stay out of the spotlight. He moved to Atlanta to clean himself up while working on his music, saying:
"I'm not only back but it's about to be a problem for Hollywood because we're going to go big. I'm excited, but I'm also humbled and grateful."
He sure sounds confident in his comeback!

With his past scandals behind him, we might see Short again in another prime time network show.
Rumors have been swirling that the actor might be appearing on the next season of Empire. The actor had this to say on his possible role for Fox's hip-hop soap operas:
"It wouldn't be a shock. Big things are happening. I'm going to be bridging my music career with my acting career."
Sounds like he's hinting at good news — we just hope he's truly changed for the better. Otherwise, why would anyone be excited about this??
