Kyle Kennedy speaks out.
She's no stranger to this kind of talk.
But these latest comments definitely crossed a line!!!
Kelly Clarkson was the topic of conversation on a Fox News radio show that happened this past Friday between Fox affiliate Chris Wallace and Mike Gallagher on The Mike Gallagher Show.
Gallagher was the one who started it, but Chris Wallace definitely was the one who finished it!
"Listen, don't fat shame me. You do a lot of fat shaming. That's the new phrase now, 'fat shaming.' Have you seen Kelly Clarkson? You know the singer, Kelly Clarkson? Holy cow, did she blow up."
Wallace responded with:
"Really? Do we want to talk about some of your friends? Kelly Clarkson's got a lovely voice. She could stay off the deep dish pizza for a little while."
Such a gross comment and so uncool for them to pick on Kelly Clarkson for no reason whatsoever.
A sentiment shared by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren who wrote on her blog:
"This 'guy snickering' about her weight is obnoxious. He should apologize."
We agree and we think both of them should do it as soon as possible.
For them to pick on Kelly Clarkson, when it had nothing to do with their conversation, maybe an apology isn't even enough.
