Sorry, Marvel fans. Bad news.
The upcoming Avengers sequel is missing something you totally loved in the original — an ending!

OK, obvi the movie ends, you're not going to be held captive in the theater or anything. But that extra special post-credits scene that Marvel movies have become famous for?
Forget it! Director Joss Whedon broke the news:
"There is nothing at the very end. And that's not a fake-out. We want people to know so they don't sit there for 10 minutes and then go: 'Son of a b*tch! I'll kill them!'"
But Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige wants fans to know not to rush out of the theater RIGHT when the movie ends. He said:
"There will be a tag. But there's not a post-post-credit scene."
OK, so nothing like that amazing shawarma scene. But we will be seeing a glimpse of what's coming next in the Marvel cinematic universe.

But why not make a little something extra? A tease of a side character, a duck mocking an alien, anything?
Because it just didn't fit this time. Joss says:
"It didn't seem to lend itself in the same way, and we wanted to be true to what felt right. The first rule of making a sequel is take the best moments and do something else. Don't do the Indiana Jones gun trick again differently. Just go somewhere else. Don't try to hit the same highs, because people will sense it."
That's definitely a smart way to look at it. We'd hate to walk out of Age Of Ultron with hazy images of The Hangover II.
Oh well. At least we won't have to wait 10 more minutes to pee! LOLz!
