This was a very short-lived scandal.
Just days after the claims of Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein groping a young model surfaced on the very last day of March, the case has already been closed.

The Manhattan District Attorney's office revealed on Friday that all the charges filed against the Oscar-winning producer will be dropped.
A statement from Cyrus Vance Jr.'s office said:
"This case was taken seriously from the outset, with a thorough investigation conducted by our sex crimes unit. After analyzing the available evidence, including multiple interviews with both parties, the criminal charge is not supported."
Sounds like Harvey's wife Georgina Chapman will be happy to hear that.
A spokesperson for The Weinstein Company owner said to Deadline:
"We are pleased this episode is behind us."
That decision was made very quickly. Guess when you have a lot of money it makes legal matters go by a lot faster.
