Dancing With The Stars Disney Week Recap: Who Went Home After Dancing To Songs From Disney Classics?
Most pairs got a happy ending with stellar reviews from the judges, but one couple's fairytale ended.
Before we get to the best performances, we'll reveal which couple didn't make the cut this week…
The couple to go home this week was Suzanne Somers and her partner Tony Dovolani.
After receiving low scores the previous week, the duo delivered a great Jazz performance of He's a Tramp from Lady and The Tramp, earning very positive feedback from the judges! Len Goodman said:
"That was, without a doubt, the best dance you've done."
Even with their 28 out of 40 score, it wasn't enough to take home the pasta — the couple was eliminated. On to the better performances of the night…
The highest scoring performance came from Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who performed a villainous Samba to the song Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid. The starlet was happy to play a proper villain, and it definitely showed in her performance!
The duo received three perfect tens, and an overall score of 39 out of 40! The judges were blown away by Rumer's "deliciously wicked" dance, as she made Ursula seem sexy!
War vet and amputee Noah Galloway delivered a solid performance after partner Sharna Burgess reminded him to not focus on his limitations. The couple danced the Foxtrot to A Whole New World from Aladdin, complete with a flying carpet!
The judges praised the performance, noting Galloway's clear and assertive direction with his moves. The duo received a 28 out of 40.
Olympian Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough finally gave us the Frozen treat we were waiting for all night, dancing to Love Is an Open Door. The couple sought out to deliver a flawless but heartfelt performance, and the judges agreed!
The couple received a 38 out of 40, and though judge Carrie Ann Inaba was thrown off by the duos inconsistent lip-syncing, she cheered that the performance was "like a Disney dream come true."
Do U think the right couple went home?
