The Prince has started his paternity leave earlier than expected, and it's all because he completed the first phase of his air ambulance training super quickly!
Yay! We're sure Kate was ecstatic to hear the news! Besides, what mom wants to be without her husband while she's giving birth?
A Kensington Palace spokesperson confirmed the news, saying:
"The Duke of Cambridge has completed the first phase of his in-work air ambulance helicopter pilot training with Bond Air Services earlier than anticipated. This is due to a combination of The Duke performing well in the various modules and having very good flying conditions that allowed flight training and assessment to progress more quickly than had been planned."
For now, Prince William will be right by Kate's side until June 1, when he has to return to Norfolk for the last part of his training.

However, that's not the only good news for the royal family!
It was reported earlier that Prince Harry will be missing the birth of his next nephew or niece, but it looks like the ginger-haired prince will be coming back after all!
Not for a long stay, but the 30-year-old is returning to London this weekend for a marathon event. The palace representative went on to report:
"Prince Harry will briefly return to the U.K. this weekend following the Gallipoli commemorations in Turkey, to attend the London Marathon as Patron of the London Marathon Charitable Trust."
The family will all be back together for this joyous occasion.
Well, for the most part! Now we're all just waiting patiently for this little prince or princess to make their debut!
