According to recent news reports, Bobby Brown has filed for guardianship over daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown's estate, the home that she owns in Atlanta, Georgia.
Filing for guardianship will allow Bobby to make decisions regarding his daughter's home while she remains in an incapacitated state and is unable to make decisions for herself.
Following the filing, David W. Long, a lawyer representing Krissi's maternal grandmother Cissy Houston, released this statement:
This is a family matter involving sensitive information. We hope to resolve this in a manner that is respectful of Bobbi Kristina's sensitive health information. The Houston family has always looked out for the best interest of Bobbi Kristina Brown. The family has done so all of her life and will continue to do so. We trust that others have the same objective.
Bobbi Kristina is currently still under medical care in DeKalb Medical Center in Atlanta, after being found unconscious in a bathtub in her home on January 31.

Since then she has been in a medically induced coma, although her father made claims that she was out of the coma and had opened her eyes, a statement that was refuted by the Houston family.
In fact, Cissy Houston has been quite candid about her granddaughter's condition, and less than a week ago she admitted that while 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina is no longer under a medically-induced coma, her brain damage is irreversible, according to doctors.
We continue to have Bobbi in our prayers, and we hope she can pull through and get better.
