Is Taylor Schilling waging war on selfies?
Well, she certainly doesn't like them — that's for sure.
In her interview for Elle Canada, the Netflix star expressed her disdain for the internet and people's obsession with social media.
"There is something so sad about going online and seeing almost everyone shouting 'Notice me, notice me!' Which is such a human desire—to be acknowledged.
But me responding to that with some sort of 'You're noticed, you're seen' only perpetuates the loneliness. Because I'm not seeing you; I'm not noticing you."
Whoa! Tell us how you really feel, Taylor.
However, the Lucky One actress doesn't mean to be so negative. In reality, she just feels that people should be appreciated in the real world rather than through 'fake' internet validation.
The blonde beauty didn't just stop there — she even threw shade at the selfie Queen, Kim Kardashian.

"It has almost become a defiant thing at this point because I do not believe this celebrity Kim Kardashian culture is what I signed up for. I'd rather create something honest than try to create something for a social-media account."
So we're guessing she didn't catch this week's Keeping Up With The Kardashians?! LOLz!
The Emmy nominee relayed that she might be too sensitive for the internet.
"Besides, my brain is just way too fragile for both. I am susceptible to what people think; I think we all are. So it's just easier for me to not engage with it too much."
Well Taylor, you might hate the internet but internet loves you! This might be the best you've ever looked.
Be sure to catch the Orange Is the New Black season 3 premiere June 12 on Netflix.
