"I remember seeing the interview the night before and I was blown away at the fact that this former man, because he wants to be called a woman, he is part of the most famous family on the planet. And by coming out and saying he's transitioning into a woman at this moment I thought was so brave.
That must have been so difficult to do. I don't know him all that well but I am proud of him. I wanted to sing that in honor of him. I didn't plan it. He popped into my head before the song and I was like I got to share this because I'm so inspired by him."
