The city of Baltimore should be expecting a forecast of Purple Rain this weekend!
Earlier this week, it was reported that Prince recorded a protest song in the wake of the Baltimore riots over Freddie Gray's death.
Now, it's been announced that the superstar will perform the song at a Mother's Day Rally 4 Peace concert in Baltimore!

Organizers of the concert had this to say:
"In a spirit of healing, the event is meant to be a catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the U.S."
People are invited to wear something gray to the event as a symbolic message, and organizers continue to explain:
"As a symbolic message of our shared humanity and love for one another, attendees are invited to wear something gray in tribute to all those recently lost in the violence."
We expect this to be an extremely moving concert and emotional night.
The ART OFFICIAL AGE singer recorded a song last week as a tribute to the city and people of Baltimore, which discusses the recent political and social issues throughout the country.
