Angelina Jolie is an Oscar-winning actress and Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award recipient — not to mention she's flawlessly beautiful and married to Brad Pitt.
But Angie still doesn't have it all. She REALLY wants to be a director, too — as evidenced by her directorial debut in 2014's Unbroken!
The 39-year-old's next directorial effort By The Sea will feature the actress on-screen, and what's even better, she'll be playing opposite her husband for the first time since 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith!

The drama, set in the 1970s, follows an American writer (Pitt) and his wife (Jolie) arriving at a beautiful resort in France. It's clear their relationship is in trouble, as they start to spend time with other travelers at the resort.
The mother of six penned the script herself, which discusses the complexity of the human experience. She had this to say about working on the film:
"This is a story about a relationship derailed by loss, the tenacity of love and the path to recovery and acceptance. It has been a privilege to explore these universal human experiences with such a generous and talented cast and crew."
By The Sea has landed a November 13 release date — usually the time of year studios release prestige dramas that are expected to generate buzz for awards season!
