And according to Ellen DeGeneres, so was she. But she's surprisingly still on the movie's side!

In honor of Mother's Day, Time magazine has posted its annual Letters From Mom feature, which publishes open letters from influential mothers to their children.
"Every day, I wake up thinking about how much I love, admire and cherish each of you. I gave birth to two of you, but I have four incredible daughters. Writing this brought to mind all the ways you guys have been such a blessing to me."
She went on to address each one individually, explaining to Kelly and Angie that, while they aren't biologically her children, she loves them as if they are.
Tina also admired Solange's individuality:
"I knew when you were born three days late that you would walk to the beat of your own drum. You were always my rebel warrior! Always defending the underdog and fighting for what you believe in."
"I wish people could see how you are when you're not in front of the camera or on the stage. How compassionate and kind you are to people, how you look them right in the eye when you speak to them. How hard you work, how generous you are with your time and money. How you don't care if anyone knows about it because you do it from the heart."
"Success doesn't mean shit to me. This entertainment industry doesn't mean anything to me. If you do well and you're strong—that's what makes me feel happy, that's what makes me feel great.
Ivana Trump decided to show Ivanka, Donnie, and Eric some motherly love, as well:
"You have grown into adults who can help change and shape this world, and I am sure each one of your will master your destiny. I couldn't be more proud of you… I thank you all for being the light and the loves of my life. You have made it all worthwhile. You share the love, and it all comes back to you and those you love in turn."
In addition to these fierce females, there were other mothers who took to Time to put their feelings for their children in print. Victoria Beckham, It's Always Sunny's Kaitlin Olson, Today's Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Wolfe, singers Melissa Etheridge and Thalía, basketball star Candace Parker, author Jennifer Weiner, and politicians Nikki Haley, Chirlane McCray, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, and Sally Jewell all wrote touching tributes to their kids.
Happy almost Mother's Day, everyone!
