Ew. As if!
Clueless may be one of the most iconic coming-of-age movies of all time, but that doesn't mean we know everything there is to know about the Alicia Silverstone classic.
That's because while the 1995 comedy has a super famous cast consisting of Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy, Jeremy Sisto, and the politically-minded and totally still relevant Stacey Dash, the movie could have had even more star power!
Apparently, some current A-Listers were just short of making their big break in the Emma parody — and we're talking Hollywood heavy hitters!

Who exactly just missed the boat?? Well…
As you can see in the picture above, Sarah Michelle Gellar almost starred as Cher's arch-enemy Amber, but she had to give up the role, which eventually went to Elisa Donovan, because of a conflict with her appearance on All My Children.
But that's not the only cast switch-up that went down!
Terrence Howard actually lost the role of Murray to Donald Faison — which we're actually okay with because Donald is just too HIGHlarious opposite Stacey.
And last but not least…
Jeremy Renner somehow made it to finals for Breckin Meyer's role of Travis.
Don't get us wrong, we love us some Hawkeye, but we think Breckin getting the part was the right choice.
Would you have preferred to see any of the alternates in Clueless??
