In the independently filmed commercial, the Hamburglar is released from prison and is picked up by Ronald and Grimace. His boys know exactly what he wants, as they give him a juicy quarter pounder right when he steps in the car!
Brett Landry, who is affiliated with Rogue Creatives, had this to say about the project:
"This is a project that has been in the works for over two years. We were approached by a top production company to produce our original script which allowed us to make something that we think is worthy of any major film and effects studio. We love the Hamburglar and hope that McDonald's will enjoy our interpretation of the original character."
Sounds like they're just fellow burger enthusiasts!
In fact, the group is urging OG Hamburlgar supporters to head to their campaign website and submit ideas for the burger-napper's "next gangster move" now that he's on parole!
