There's no question this must be excruciatingly difficult on the entire family.

Well, we've all certainly been wrong a time or two (thousand), and now you can add Andy Cohen to the list of people who don't always get it right!
During the sit-down, Cohen tells Frankel:
"Well, I was initially wrong about you, because I, initially, when I saw the first casting of New York, was reticent about you because you had been on The Apprentice. And I thought that that was weird at the time. Isn't that funny?"
Luckily for all of us, Cohen quickly figured out his mistake and now knows just how much Frankel was "born to be a housewife," as he tells her during the interview.
And in a funny moment of truth, Andy comes clean to Bethenny that hers wasn't the only casting he nearly messed up!
"You know Lisa Rinna was on the first casting tape for Beverly Hills. In the first season of Beverly Hills, I thought 'I don't see it. It's weird. It's not what this show is.' But then last year I wanted her on."
And on Zolciak, who reminded him of a country singer (!):
"I didn't get Kim Zolciak in the initial casting of Atlanta. I did not get… We have this white woman. I just didn't get it."
Fortunately, somebody at Bravo's casting department convinced Andy otherwise on all three ladies, and we're forever graced with the amazingness that is the Real Housewives franchise in all its glory!

At least it it all worked out!
