Get ready for this!
A few weeks back Demi Lovato teased on Instagram that she had some "big news" and she wasn't kidding! It's official that Miz Lovato and Nick Jonas along with manager Phil McIntyre are forming Safehouse Records in a joint venture with Island Records.

That's right! This means that both Nick and Demi will release music on the new record label! Lovato's 5th album will be a creative partnership between Safehouse, Island and her current label, Hollywood Records!
In response to the news, Lovato said:
"I've worked closely with both Nick and Phil for years and we share the same point of view when it comes to making music. It's incredibly exciting to be part of this new company where I'm in control of all aspects of my career. I can't wait to share what we're working on!"
As of now, Nick is signed with Island — where he released his debut, self-titled album — so it'll be an easy transition over to his new home label. Both Nick and McIntrye released a statement regarding the newly found label and its goal in saying:
"Our focus at Safehouse Records is to put artists in control of their art while providing them the best tools to manage their careers. Through our partnership with Island Records they will also have access to the best marketing and promotion available."
This is so incredibly exciting for the young singers! We can't wait to hear about their success with their new venture and we wish them the best! As long as they keep putting out the hits, we'll keep listening!
What do you think? Is this a great partnership or what?
