Dustin Diamond, the actor who played Screech in Saved By The Bell, was convicted Friday afternoon in the case of a stabbing at a bar in Wisconsin.
The incident, which happened last Christmas, occurred when Diamond and his girlfriend were confronted at an establishment while trying to pay their tab.
Diamond alleges he was acting in self-defense and wasn't intending harm, even though a man was stabbed in the altercation.

Now, the case is resolved with a conviction - but it's not nearly as bad as it could've been for Diamond.
That's because he was merely convicted of two misdemeanors - and acquitted of the felony charges related to the stabbing - which will ensure he won't spend several years in prison.
The court convicted Diamond of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.
Those charges mean that, in a worst-case scenario, he will spend nine months in prison.
Sentencing will happen at a later date, and of course, we'll keep you posted.
