We don't know how to feel about this!
At the ATX Festival over the weekend, we were pleasantly surprised to see the reunion of not one, but two classic family TV shows.
Both the casts of Parentood and Gilmore Girls have one thing in common — Lauren Graham, so we're very glad they took the opportunity to place the matriarch of both show's directly in between her two on-screen daughters!
We're not sure whether Lauren gets along better with Alexis Bledel or Mae Whitman, but we hope that she never has to pick a favorite child.

And while this mini-reunion is absolutely adorable, we also learned some rather upsetting news about everyone's favorite mother/sister pair at the festival.
According to Amy Sherman-Palladino, those rumors about a potential Gilmore Girls movie simply aren't true:
"There is nothing in the works… But the good news is nobody here hates each other.
If it happened, I promise we'd do it correctly."
So you're saying there's a chance?
While it may be a long time until we get to see Stars Hollow reinhabited with our favorite Connecticut folk, we're glad that it seems like the cast would be open to the idea!
And hey — maybe now they can do an official Parenthood/GG crossover — We'd totally watch that!
