Wouldn't it be a dream!
Remember those days when you used to pretend you were David Hasslehoff's character in Knight Rider? Well we don't either, but regardless you can still own KITT — the car from the ‘80s hit series Knight Rider.
It's going to be part of an auction that will take place on the weekend of June 26 and 27. The classic tv show car is actually a T-Top TransAm that has a keyless ignition system as well as controls and monitors in the car.
Oh, but that's not all! Show them what else they could win! That's right if you're willing to throw down and bid for this car you'll also receive call sheets and maps that will tell you when the vehicle was used during the show and what cast members were in it!
If that's not up your alley, there are a couple other cool Hollywood classic up for sale at the auction!
A car from the 1978 classic Grease is up for grabs as well. It's the 1949 Mercury Series 9CM custom convertible, that was featured in the final race of the movie in the dried out Los Angeles River against the the hero of the film, Danny Zuko played by John Travolta.
The estimated cost? That'll cost you $400,000-$500,000. But this time you get Olivia Newton-John's signature on the dashboard!
And if you want to go back a decade further? Well John Schneider, star of Dukes of Hazzard, actually built a 1969 model Dodge Charger and painted a "01" on the side doors and "Bo's General Lee" painted above the windows.
So start saving up if you want one of these puppies! Or you can wait for the Batmobile to go on sale like we are!
