Al Jean, the executive producer of the longtime animated series, told Variety about a few things to expect in the upcoming season. Though we already learned that Sideshow Bob will FINALLY get to kill off Bart this season — but only in the Halloween special so not for real-sies — we got a few more details on what's going to happen in year 27.
He says of the upcoming season:
In the premiere, it's discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it's an incredible strain on the marriage. Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who's voiced by Lena Dunham.
Well we always like change and if it does happen, who better to fall in love with thanLena Dunham?! But one person already isn't thrilled with the choice. Whoopi Goldberg thinks Homer should be a bit more open! She HIGH-lariously points out:
What the hell? Homer, what about a sister? In the time that I've seen you, I've never seen you with a black woman. Or maybe Marge is just a light-skinned sister and they haven't said it.
Regardless, we don't think you should "have a cow, man." The Simpsons couple have hit the rocks before and they always end up back together. At the end of the day, Homer and Marge are a constant, and love wins out. Don't believe us? Well here…
In the past couple of weeks, the O.C. star has made headlines for a series of odd incidents. At the end of January, the actress was hospitalized for a mental evaluation after going on a crazy rant in her backyard. Two days later, she explained that she was drugged with GHB at her birthday party.
This past weekend, the 31-year-old crashed into an apartment building with a U-Haul truck after misjudging the height of the carport.
With all that's going on, one could see a correlation between her substance use and her bizarre behavior. Check out a close up (below)!
