Oh, the fleeting glory of pageantry…
In April, Emily Kachote was crowned Miss World Zimbabwe 2015, set to compete in the Miss World competition this December.
But now, it looks like her plans have changed! It's been reported that Kachote has been stripped of her title because of a nude photo leak!

Reps from the Miss Zimbabwe Board said that the 25-year-old engaged in "immoral behavior", and released the following statement about their decision to pull the crown:
"The Miss Zimbabe executive board would like to inform the nation that it has decided to dethrone Miss Emily Kachote as Miss World Zimbabwe 2015. Being in a relationship, sexual advances to anyone and any behavior categorized as immoral by the Miss Zimbabwe Trust is grounds for instant disqualification and dethronement."
It seems a little harsh, as Kachote believes the photos were leaked by an ex-boyfriend. Why should she be punished for being the victim of a sexual offense?
Fortunately, the beauty queen isn't going down without a fight. Kachote shared her response to the dethroning on her Facebook:
"There are two kinds of pain: the sort of pain that makes you strong, or useless pain; the sort of pain that's only suffering. I have no patience for useless things. For now I'm waiting for my attorney then I will hold a press conference before the end of the week."
Preach, girl! In a follow up post, she wrote:
"For those of us climbing to the top of the food chain, there can be no mercy. There is but one rule: hunt or be hunted."
We hope that the board rethinks their decision and Kachote gets back the title she was awarded!
