On Tuesday, it was revealed that Tommy Chong is once again battling cancer. The 77-year-old shared at the 826LA 10th anniversary party in Santa Monica, CA that he was undergoing treatment for rectal cancer. Oh no.
"I've had some medical issues lately. I got diagnosed with rectal cancer."
It was only in 2012 that the That '70s Show star was diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the past, Chong's been a vocal advocate for the decriminalization of marijuana and used it actively during his first bout of cancer.

And it seems he's doing the same thing this time around.
"I'm using cannabis like crazy now, more so than ever before. I'm in treatment now. I've been — just the case either way, either I get healed or I don't. But either way, I'm going to make sure I get a little edge off or put up."
Hmm, very inneresting.
The veteran actor also shared that the book Spiritual Power of Truth has been extremely comforting during this time.
"It's what's kept my head up. So that's my book."
Back in 2012, the Cheech & Chong celebrity credited Mary Jane as a factor in curing his disease. He even went on CNN and spoke with Don Lemon about legalizing the drug.
"I've got prostate cancer, and I'm treating it with hemp oil, with cannabis. So [legalizing marijuana] means a lot more to me than just being able to smoke a joint without being arrested… I'm taking it as a medicine."
We're thinking of Tommy and his loved ones during this trying time. We hope you get better soon!
