There's no question this must be excruciatingly difficult on the entire family.

Has Lindsay Lohan finally grown up?
Just a month after she completed her community service for a 2012 reckless driving charge, the actress revealed to a London tabloid that she hopes to make the city her permanent home.
Hmm, does the starlet really need an entire ocean between herself and the very inneresting Michael Lohan?
Linds, who has resided in London ever since she starred in Speed-The-Plow, opened up about why the city appeals to her after all those years jet-setting between New York and El Lay:
"I can definitely see myself settling in London permanently. I can go for a run here on my own. I do every morning, early. I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else. In LA I didn't know what to do, apart from go out every night. You turn on the news in LA and it is all gossip about people. All the stuff that is going on in the world right now and this gossip is the news? I love the BBC. I haven't heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great."
The 28-year-old brings up a good point — we could see how it would be easier for her to blend in overseas!
"I'm in a really good place. I'm blessed to have been able to do a play in London and start a different way of life. New York is very fast paced and it's not like that over here for me. You grow up and change, and I'm really happy about that, as overall I feel a lot better."
We bet completing those community service hours doesn't hurt either! How could Lindsay not feel "better" after putting that drama behind her?
The New York native went on to say that she plans to apply for British citizenship no matter what the cost.
Well, if London makes LL happy, then why not?!
So, what do YOU think about this move?
