Just when there was an ounce of hope!
Fox News has announced that it is not going to renew their contract with Sarah Palin.
It won't be a messy split; the network and the former vice-presidential candidate have apparently split on amicable terms, which means that she is still expected to make guest appearances on both Fox and Fox Business.

It's not like we'd REALLY get rid of her though as the former Alaska governor still has a show on the Sportsman Channel. Apparently, she also has big news right around the corner too as she's going to have a new publishing project soon.
Palin joined Fox News after she and presidential candidate John McCain lost the election in 2008. Since then, she has had a rocky career with the network — she left from January to June 2013.
Like weeds in our gardens, she of course came back as a contributor for the network. And in one of the most Fox Newsy statements of all time, CEO Roger Ailes explained the rehire back then by saying:
"The only two people I knew who got worse press than her were Richard Nixon and George W. Bush — some of it unfairly, much of it unfair to her family … . I probably hired her back, if you really want to get to the bottom of it, to give her a chance to say her piece and piss off the people that wanted her dead."
Even if we can't get rid of her, let's hope that this could mean seriously diminished Palin in all of our lives!
