The singer, who is pregnant with twins, WILL headline the festival in 2018 -- so at least the BeyHive has that!
In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, Bey's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said:
FINALLY! It's the moment we've all been waiting for!
While many of the athlete's family members were quick to vocalize their support for the reveal, there was one person who was notably silent.
Her ex-wife, Kris Jenner.
On Wednesday, at the Cannes Lions Festival in France, the Kardashian matriarch finally made a statement regarding the Olympian's editorial moment.
"I think it's amazing… I think that someone following their dream is truly inspirational to a lot of people… you have to do what makes you happy."
YES!!! We're so happy!
The momager even called the Annie Leibovitz-shot picture "beautiful."
Of course, the reality TV star hasn't always been singing a happy tune regarding her ex's transition.
In the groundbreaking article, she told Buzz Bissinger:
"He was married to me and he wasn't who he wanted to be so he was miserable… Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy?… Why would you not explain this all to me?"
However, ever since the article came out, wounds may have been healed.
On June 12, Caitlyn gave praise to Kris on Twitter. She wrote:
Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years. Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!
