Donald Trump's fight with Univision rages on to new extremes!
Earlier this week, the network dropped the Miss USA Pageant due to the Apprentice star's racist comments during his presidential bid speech.
Firing back, The Donald threatened to sue the network for "hundreds of millions of dollars" for breaking an alleged 5-year contract to air the pageant!
Now, the fight has escalated to a new level after the presidential hopeful posted a handwritten letter from Univision news anchor Jorge Ramos — with his personal cell phone number written on it!!
Trump actually posted Ramos' phone number on his Instagram:
In the letter, Ramos requested an interview with the billionaire, writing:
"I'm sure you have a lot of things to say, and I have a lot of things to ask… I know this is an important issue for you and for me."
The Donald's response? He sent a letter to the company's CEO Randy Falco, banning all Univision employees from appearing on Trump's properties in Miami! He shared:
Letter to @Univision- re: @TrumpDoralA photo posted by Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump) on Jun 26, 2015 at 1:10pm PDT
It seems like Univision is trying to start a conversation with the real estate mogul in hopes of resolving the issues. But based on Trump's responses, it almost seems as if he wants to keep up this fight with the network!
The candidate's behavior isn't boding well for him. NBC has already been distancing themselves from Trump, releasing the following statement on Thursday:
"Donald Trump's opinions do not represent those of NBC, and we do not agree with his positions on a number of issues, including his recent comments on immigration."
We can't wait to find out what other bridges the candidate will burn during his campaign!
