OMG this would be totally amazing!
In May, ABC's Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming, Robert Mills, took to Twitter to campaign for Trainwreck star Amy Schumer to be the next leading lady on The Bachelorette.
First, Amy announced she wants to be rolling in the big bucks, saying:
"Money. A lot of money."
Second, the HIGHlarious comedian wants to make sure that she can bring her brutal honesty and lack of filter from the stage to the screen:
"They would have to say, 'We will let you be yourself.' I would say what was really up."
But the most important things the funny lady would like to see change are the weird and totally vague job descriptions of the contestants:
"The casting process would have to be different. It's like, 'former investment banker'?! They're like, 'flower enthusiast'? You're like, 'But what do you do? How come you could leave your life?'" she says. "I love when it's like, ‘I have five kids at home but I just came here to follow my heart.' It's like maybe go take care of your kids? I would keep it very real. And I don't know if it's good for that show."
Are you listening, ABC?
