Looks like someone might be getting fired!
Last week, Univision announced they were cutting ties with the Miss Universe Organization in response to Donald Trump's racist presidential bid speech. And while NBC has already started to distance themselves from the Apprentice star — assuring they do "not agree with his positions on a number of issues" — some critics think the network should take more extreme measures.

Critics of of the billionaire have launched a campaign on change.org to petition NBC to cancel Miss USA, Miss Universe, and network juggernaut Celebrity Apprentice — and has already garnered over 200,000 signatures!
The petition reads:
"Food Network cancelled Paula Dean's shows for insulting the African-American community, Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty was suspended for his anti-gay remarks, and so on and so forth. Yet, as one of the most watched TV networks in the country and owner of Telemundo, the second most largest Hispanic TV network, you side for business and not for ethics, principles and values."
Whether the network will consider dropping the pageants and/or Celebrity Apprentice is still up in the air. But NBC owns stakes in both franchises, so we're sure they're looking to find some middle ground.
In his defense, The Donald has slightly clarified his anti-Mexican comments. The 69-year-old went on CNN's State Of The Union to explain that the problem was the penetrable border between the U.S. and Mexico in which tons of "bad" people enter the states from all over the world.
It seems like Trump is starting to backpedal from his strong statements, but by the looks of it, a good chunk of the public has already tuned out!
Do YOU think NBC should drop all Trump-associated broadcasts?
