Who's the greatest rocker in all the land?!
Apparently that's the big ticket question these days!
Over the weekend, Kanye West performed at the Glastonbury Festival in England, and he was able to upset some more people. This time it wasn't fans or paparazzi, but rather Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry from the Hall of Fame rock and roll band The Who!
Apparently during his set, Kanye said:
"I'm going to say this tonight because 20 years from now, 30 years from now, 40 years from now, I might not be able to say it, but I can say it tonight….You are now watching the greatest living rock star on the planet."
We don't doubt West believes this, but that's not to say that rock and roll stars who've been around since the ‘60s won't disagree!
Luckily, when it was Townshend's turn to respond to what Kanye had said, someone took a video and posted his response to Twitter (below):
If you didn't quite catch that, he said:
"We're going to send you home now with a rebellious, 'Oh yeah, who's the biggest rock star in the world?'"
This of course was right before he rocked out and shredded an AH-Mazing guitar solo!
LOLz! We always love hearing two artists fight over who they think is the bigger star!
But who do you think is the bigger rock star?! Sound off in the comments (below)!
