There's no question this must be excruciatingly difficult on the entire family.

It's good to be Joe Manganiello!
He's engaged to the lovely Sofia Vergara, starring in the highly anticipated Magic Mike XXL, and is one of the sexiest men alive.
However, none of these things eliminates the battle to stay sober — which he says requires strength and focus.
"I battled with addiction at a young age and got to the other side of that. That's an ongoing battle."
Wow! What an honest answer.
The 38-year-old revealed his struggle with alcoholism two years ago — when he shared that in his 20s he was homeless, jobless, and careless.
The True Blood hunk discussed his struggles further in his book Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You've Always Wanted. However, it seems he may be ready to talk more about his past.
"I was writing a one-man show at some point, and maybe I'll pick up with that or turn that into a book; there are some hurdles that were thrown my way in life that I had to get over [that I want to discuss]. I think there's a story in there somewhere about trying to find my way through that and making it to where I am today."
We'd read that book! But for now, it seems everything is coming up in Joe's favor. Especially when it comes to love.
The Hollywood hottie gushed about his fiancée and explained why they work as a couple.
Apparently, the duo hit it off since they're both so grounded. For example, Joe relayed that the couple once considered making a movie together — before it was squashed by the Modern Family actress.
"Her fear is that we'd make the next Gigli. We get along so well together; I'm so lucky to have found that right person for me, and I know she feels the same way. We're really good with each other. Why risk f—ing that up?"
Well, we think both you and Sofia are SLAYING it right now. So much so we'd prob sign up to see a movie starring your double hotness. It wouldn't even have to have words, just you two!
We can't wait to see what you'll do next. Keep doing you, Joe!
