On Thursday, it was reported that the blonde beauty may have been "in on" the plane crash stunt that recently made headlines. Guess that rumored lawsuit was a joke too! LOLz!
Reportedly, an Egyptian production company behind the prank revealed in a document that Miz Hilton was not their first choice. It's said the company sent offers to the reps of American celebs back in March — and even promised them a big paycheck!
"We will monitor the funny reactions from our celebrity guest when they fear jumping off the plane."
Dubai officials were also apparently in on the prank as the document shared that the government had given the show its blessing.
The document continued:
"Dubai official authorities are monitoring this show and providing us with security. If you want to make sure, you can contact the office of crown prince of Dubai, his majesty Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He himself will be supervising the progress of the project."
But this isn't the first time the celebutante's been paid to be a scream queen. How can you forget her ground breaking death in House of Wax?!
The starlet is rumored to have been paid in the million dollar range to be featured in the funny hoax. That's one large chunk of change!
The pitcher and two other unidentified people were pronounced dead early Sunday after a Coast Guard patrol found a 33-foot boat overturned on a jetty about 3:30 a.m. local Miami time, according to Coast Guard Chief Nyxolyno Cangemi.
The accident is currently being investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The Marlins, who were set to play the Atlanta Braves today, have canceled their game in light of the tragedy surrounding Fernandez (pictured above, left, laughing with an umpire during a game last week).
The team did release a statement on the matter, though (below):
