Well this is certainly a new way to stay hydrated!!
While most alcohol companies don't bother to try and market their drinks toward a more health conscious crowd, TY KU is shaking things up by trying to appeal to your inner yogi!
That's right! The growing sake company is hoping to get yoga lovers to jump on their bandwagon, and it's not as crazy as you might think!
Studies have shown that around 55 percent of U.S. adults like to drink alcoholic beverages. However, that number jumps all the way up to 75 percent when you're talking about yogis!
If that's not enough to get companies drooling, it also helps that the yoga community has become a LOT more affluent in the past few decades, meaning these guys have money to spend!
Right now it's estimated that about 24 million people in the U.S. practice yoga, and while we're not math experts over here, that's a pretty huge market that's being ignored!!
It's not 100 percent clear how TY KU is planning to appeal to yogis, but we're guessing a lot of other companies will follow suit if it works!!
