Zoe Saldana wants women to know they're worth more than their looks!
In a recent interview, the actress recalled an extremely sexist moment between herself and a Hollywood producer.
Essentially, the producer damaged her self-esteem — and now the 37-year-old is telling her story in hopes that it will resonate with young girls.

The momma of two revealed:
"A producer once told me he hired me for the way I held a gun while wearing panties, not for my opinions. I wish I'd recorded it, so I could play it for every girl in elementary school and tell them never to let anybody treat them that way."
Ew! How disgusting and disappointing!
While the Guardians of the Galaxy star didn't reveal who the piggish producer was, in 2011 Zoe starred in Columbiana — a film in which she can be seen holding guns while wearing panties. We'll let you put the rest of the puzzle pieces together!
Well, we're glad that the actress has a great head on her shoulders and that she has such a progressive husband by her side. It seems safe to say that ZS will never allow herself to be put in this type of situation again!
Thanks for speaking out, girl!
