On Sunday, Jared Padalecki felt the love from his fans at Comic-Con when the audience paid an illuminating tribute to his battle against depression.
The 32-year-old was almost speechless when over 7,000 fans unexpectedly lit candles during the Supernatural panel to support his Always Keep Fighting campaign — which supports people struggling with depression, addiction or mental illness.
When the moderators opened up the floor to audience questions, fans raised electric candles in the air (above) and shouted out: "Always keep fighting!"
The actor, who previously revealed he has been battling depression for seven years, was overwhelmed by the fan tribute, telling the crowd:
"This is so touching and humbling and honoring. I don't have the proper words to say thank you or how humbled and honored and excited I am and keep it up, guys. Thank y'all so much."
What an inspiring moment! Always keep fighting, Jared!
