This could become really big -- and it sounds horrifying.

False alarm on this one!
Emma Watson was the subject of some bizarre and scary rumors last week when a British tabloid reported that two studio workers on the set of her film Beauty and the Beast were discussing plans to kidnap her from the set!
A taxi driver overheard the discussions, and reported it to his management and studio staff.
Well, as it turns out, those rumors are thankfully false! Despite the tabloid reporting there being concern for her safety, Watson was apparently never the target of a real kidnapping plot. A spokesperson relayed:
"The story was looked into by production and found to be unsubstantiated and untrue."
So that's good… right?!
Meanwhile, Watson and the cast are hard at work on Beauty and the Beast — assuming no more shenanigans like that take place, the live-action re-boot of the cartoon classic will be in theaters in March 2017.
