Our hearts are breaking over this social media celeb split!
But, Miz Ballinger stressed that her former flame didn't wrong her in any way, adding:
Instead, the singer clarified that they ultimately weren't a good fit together:
Ed Sheeran's obviously #TeamTaylor.
What else's a squad for if not to defend you after tense Twitter conversations?! WE KID.
"I think everyone knows that Taylor has done nothing wrong in that situation. She didn't nominate herself for the awards. It's not her fault, she just made some good videos and people think they're good. And I think the Minaj point is a bit redundant, her point is that you have to be skinny and white to get a video of the year nomination but Beyonce's 7/11 is in there and that is celebrating the female figure in every form."
That's a fair point!
Since the tense online conversation, several celebrities have taken to the social media site to throw their two cents into the ring. HIGHlariously, Bruno Mars played on the supposed "beef" and sent the Don't performer some pretend shade. And it seems the ginger celeb LOVED it as much as we did.
"I've been wanting to do that for ages with someone but there isn't any one that I know that I can not have to text them to tell them that this is actually a joke.
When I saw Bruno do that, I knew he was joking and I know if I say anything I won't have to text him and ask him if he's offended by it with the short jokes."
In fact, the 24-year-old is nominated for a total of six VMAs — including the controversial Video Of The Year award.
Nonetheless, we can only imagine that TSwizzle and her squad are looking to just Shake It Off and move on from the drama. This isn't the first time Miz Swift's had to defend her wins at the MTV award show. Paging Kanye West?! LOLz!
It'll be inneresting to see how this all plays out on the day of the show.
