On Sunday, prior to the tragic confirmation that Bobbi Kristina passed away at the age of 22-years-old, her father Bobby Brown took the day to quietly notify those close to the starlet.
An insider shared:
"He is holding it together more than you'd expect. He knew it was coming. Of course he's very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now."

How sad. We can't imagine the pain he must be going through right now.
The insider continued:
"He is taking comfort in the fact that she's with her mother, and that there will be no more sadness or pain. She is at peace. He knows that, and is taking comfort in that."
The R&B icon returned to Atlanta earlier this month to be at the aspiring singer's bedside following the birth of his newborn daughter Bodhi Jameson Rein.
Many have reached out to the musical family during this tragedy — and Whitney Houston's cousin Dionne Warwick even appeared on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live to reflect on the R&B scion's life following the news of her death.
It's been quite a beautiful outpouring of support for the Brown/Houston family.
Rest in peace Bobbi Kristina. Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this trying time.
