The comedienne, who left the show in 2013 after 16 seasons, dished to WBAZ's Walker Vreeland that negotiations didn't go too well, saying:
"They've come to me, and we couldn't make a deal…They wouldn't really negotiate well enough for me, and so I said, 'No, I'm not coming to you.'"
So what would it take for the 72-year-old to return to the panel with Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone, and Michelle Collins? She explained:
"If they would give me a bigger role on the show and give me some power to…make some changes and let them benefit from my expertise after being there for 16 years…But they're not going to do that. So why would I want to bang my head against the wall?"
Behar said that she found the show's current lineup "in flux," she admitted that there still might be hope to see her return to the show, saying:
"We'll see how it goes."
Very inneresting! Would you like to see the funny gal's return to The View, or is it time we all just move on? Take a listen to the full interview (below)!
