Sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll — three things HBO knows you'll tune in for!
Olivia Wilde and Boardwalk Empire's Bobby Cannavale are currently filming the upcoming "rock'n'roll drama" Vinyl!
Produced by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger, the series takes place in New York in the 1970s, telling the story of fictional record label American Century records!

The story follows music executive Richie Finestra, who is trying to find the next sound just as the punk and disco scenes begin to emerge!
Wilde is playing Devon Finestra, Richie's actress-model wife. Also starring is Ray Romano and Mick's son James Jagger — who is playing the lead singer of an early punk rock band called the Nasty Bits!
Vinyl actually stems from a film idea The Rolling Stones frontman had back in 2010 about two friends living through four decades in the music industry!
After other music biz dramas like Empire and Nashville proved to be hits on network television, we can't wait to see a similar story able to go darker and grittier in true HBO fashion! Check out the photos (above)!
Are YOU excited Vinyl, or is television just spinning out the same ideas like a broken record?
