Boy, Snoop Dogg has had a tough week in Europe!
First, last weekend, he was detained in Sweden after police believed him to be driving under the influence of drugs.
And now, in Italy, he was stopped at the airport with tons of cash — and had half of it taken away by customs authorities!

Snoop was stopped by customs agents at Lamezia Terme Airport on Saturday with the dough — and it was a crazy amount of money!
All total, he had $422,000 in cash with him! What the what?! The limit a traveler can carry across borders within the European Union is about $11,000, so Snoop was way beyond that!
The Italian cops taking half of it is pretty typical to impound under anti-money laundering codes — but Snoop will get the balance back unless something really fishy is going on.
Snoop is scheduled to perform Sunday in England — let's just hope it works out better for him than both Italy and Sweden!
