Amy Schumer is on it.
Last week, the comedienne hinted she was working to help the victims of gun violence in the wake of a fatal shooting at Louisiana theater that was screening her film Trainwreck.
Now, the Inside Amy Schumer star will team up with her cousin, US senator Charles Schumer to call for greater gun control!
According to reports, the 34-year-old will join the Democratic senator as he reveals a three-part plan geared at making it more difficult for violent criminals and mentally ill people to purchase firearms.

The proposed law will reward states who submit relevant records into a background check system and punish states who don't! The senator will also request that congress retains funding for mental health and substance abuse programs.
The actress caught herself in the middle of the heated debate on gun control after John Russell Houser shot 11 people during a Trainwreck screening on July 23.
We are so moved that Schumer is taking a personal responsibility in this tragedy, and she is using her voice for making this country a safer place!
