It looks like Bran Stark's trainer is getting a new face!
It's been reported that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Max von Sydow will join the cast for Season 6 of Game Of Thrones!
The Oscar nominee will play the role of the Three-Eyed Raven — who isn't actually a raven, but a long-bearded man — previously portrayed by Struan Rodger.

Early in the series, the character appeared in Bran's visions as an actual raven. But in Season 4's finale, we met him as a man fused to the roots of a weirwood tree, telling Bran that one day he "will fly."
The showrunners for the HBO fantasy series previously revealed that in the upcoming season, we will catch up with Bran as he is finishing up his warg training — so don't be expecting an old-school training montage to Joe Esposito's You're The Best Around.
This casting news comes right on the heels that Deadwood star Ian McShane will join GoT season 6. Like von Sydow, McShane won't have a ton of screen time, but will be playing a pivotal role.
Do YOU think the actor is a better fit for the Three-Eyed Raven?
